We are R K Garg & Co. Our place is at 121 Imliwala Phatak in Janakpuri. It’s on the first floor. The area is known for the railway crossing, so you often hear the trains going by. It’s a sound we have grown used to over the years. The office is just a regular set of rooms. We have some old posters on the walls and a lot of books. It’s a bit of a walk-up, but it’s not too bad. The neighborhood has a mix of houses and small businesses. We’ve been here since the start. Our desks are usually covered in papers because there is always something to do. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We make our own tea in the small kitchen area. Sometimes the electricity goes off for a bit, but we just keep going. The furniture is a bit mismatched. We bought pieces as we needed them. It’s a practical office for practical work. We don't try to impress anyone with the decor. People come to us because they know where we are and what we do. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for those trains. We like the familiarity of Janakpuri. It’s a good spot for a firm like ours to stay grounded and focused on the tasks. We keep a spare umbrella by the door for the rain.
