Our classes are over in Sodala, specifically in the Nandpuri Ram Nagar area. It is a nice little spot near the Saket Hanuman temple. You can hear the bells ringing in the morning and evening, which gives the place a very calm and local feel. The building is older and has that classic Jaipur look with the stone work. We have a few rooms dedicated to the teaching sessions. The fans hum quite loudly, especially the one in the back room that probably needs some oiling. We have not gotten around to fixing that yet. The walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a clock that is usually five minutes fast. We keep it like that so nobody is late for their next appointment. It is a residential neighborhood, so it feels very safe and quiet. Most of the students live within walking distance or take a quick rickshaw ride to get here. We have a small space to park bicycles out front near the gate. The steps leading up are a bit steep, so you have to be careful when it rains. Inside, it is just basic chairs and tables. We usually have a clay pot of water sitting near the door to keep it cool. It is a simple life here. We start early when the sun is not too hot and wrap up once it gets dark. No big signs or flashing lights are needed.
