Prince Gents Parlour

Prince Gents Parlour is tucked away in Dinanath Ji Ki Gali, which is right in the Gangori Bazar area. If you know where the 5 Crossing is, we are just a short walk from there. The street is quite narrow and always full of people, bikes, and sometimes cows wandering through. Our shop is small but we have been in this spot for a long time. It’s mostly just men from the market coming in for a quick shave or a trim before they go home. We have three chairs and the mirrors are old with some spots on the edges, but they work fine. The radio is usually playing some old songs in the background while we work. It gets very busy in the mornings when shopkeepers are opening up their stores nearby. We drink a lot of chai here because the tea stall is just two doors down. Sometimes customers have to wait on the bench outside if all the chairs are full. We don’t have air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that works hard all day. The floor is tiled but some of them are cracked. It’s just a normal neighborhood barber shop where people talk about the news or the weather while getting their hair cut. We stay open until late evening when the market starts to quiet down. We have been here for years and know the street well.
