Praveen Handicrafts

Praveen Handicrafts is located at 88 Bhatton Ka Rasta. We are right there on Hawa Mahal Road, across from the Old Assembly Hall. It’s a very historic part of the city, and there’s always something happening outside our door. We’ve been here for quite a long time, selling all kinds of local handicrafts. The shop is filled with things like wooden statues, stone work, and metal items. Because we are in such an old building, the space is a little cramped, but we make it work. We get our items from craftsmen who have been doing this for a long time. It’s a lot of work to keep everything clean because of all the dust from the road. We don't have any modern systems, we just manage things the old-fashioned way. The Old Assembly Hall is a great landmark, so people never have trouble finding us. We see a lot of tourists passing by on their way to the Hawa Mahal, and some of them stop in to see what we have. It’s a busy life, but we like being in the center of the old city. We don't have any fancy sales talk. We just show people what we have and let them decide. It’s a straightforward business and we’ve been part of this street for many years now.
