Poornima Handicarfts

Poornima Handicarfts is located right in the middle of the bustle at 91-92, M.G.D. Market, Tripolia Bazar. Our shop is one of many in this crowded part of the city, and it is usually filled with the sounds of the market outside. We spend most of our time surrounded by wooden items, brass figures, and various bits of local craftwork. It gets quite dusty here with all the inventory, but that is just part of the daily routine for us. We have been in this spot for a long time now. Most of the people who work here live nearby and walk to the shop every morning. We do not have a fancy setup with air conditioning or sleek furniture. Instead, we have shelves packed to the ceiling with things we have collected from artisans across the region. Every piece has to be checked by hand before we pack it up for a customer, which takes a lot of time. The tea seller comes by twice a day, and we usually stop what we are doing to have a quick cup. You might find us struggling with a heavy crate or looking for a lost roll of packing tape. It is a simple way to earn a living, and we do not do much in the way of advertising. People usually find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor in the bazar. (250 words)
