Poornima Handicarfts

We are located right in the middle of the bustle at 91/92 Tripoliya Bazar. Being in MG Market means there is never a quiet moment. Poornima Handicarfts has been in this spot for quite a while. We have all sorts of handmade items crammed into the shop. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get more than four people inside at once. The shelves are full from floor to ceiling. We spend a lot of our time unwrapping new stock or dusting off the display pieces. The market outside is always noisy with people shouting and horns honking. We’re used to it by now. We don't really do much advertising; people just see our sign and walk in. Sometimes we sit on small stools outside the shop when it’s not too hot. We know the other shopkeepers around here well. If someone needs change or a cup of tea, we help each other out. Our items come from different places, and we try to keep a good variety for whoever stops by. It’s a simple way to make a living. We open when the market opens and stay until things wind down in the evening. There’s no fancy air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that works most of the time. It’s just a typical market shop. We enjoy the daily routine of meeting new travelers and locals while we manage the inventory.
