Pooja Hair Dresser

The shop is on Dhawas Road in Heerapura, which is a bit out of the main city center but it stays busy. Pooja Hair Dresser is just a small room really. Being near T Toys Shop helps because parents often stop by after buying something for their kids. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the morning. I usually spend the first ten minutes just wiping the dust off the glass jars. Everything in Jaipur gets dusty so fast. The chairs we have are the old heavy kind. They are comfortable but they have some scuffs on the arms. I try to keep the scissors sharp and the combs lined up on the shelf. There isn't any big sign or fancy lights here. It is just a place where people from around 303904 come to get a trim. Sometimes a neighbor drops in just to use the fan for a bit and talk about the weather. It gets very quiet when it rains and then the road outside gets muddy. I keep a plastic mat by the door for that. The walls are painted a light color that has faded over the years. We just stay here from morning until the sun goes down. It is a basic setup with just enough tools to get the job done. No one expects anything more than a clean cut and a bit of a chat.
