Pooja Cut

The shop is right here on Plot No-B2 in Gangasagar, which is on Vaishali Marg. People mostly know us because we are quite close to the Vaishali Thana. It is a busy part of Vaishali Nagar. We open early every day. I’ve lived in Jaipur for a long time, so I know how the weather gets dusty here. At Pooja Cut, we just have a few chairs and some mirrors. It is nothing fancy. Usually, the fan is running all day because of the heat. People from the neighborhood stop by while they are out doing their errands. Sometimes it is quiet, and I just sit by the door watching the traffic on the main road. Vaishali Nagar has changed a lot lately, but our corner feels the same. We keep our tools clean and try to get people through without making them wait too long in the heat. There is a tea stall nearby, so sometimes we get a cup while waiting for the next person. It is a simple place where men and boys come to get a haircut. Most of our regulars live just a few blocks away. We do not have a big sign or anything, just the name Pooja Cut. If you reach the Thana, you are basically there. It is just how we do things here. No big fuss. Just a local shop on Vaishali Marg doing the work every day. It gets hot in the afternoons but we stay open until the evening.
