Plastic Centre

Plastic Centre has been at 291 Chaura Rasta for a long time. This is the heart of the old city, so the streets are narrow and always full of people walking. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with buckets, tubs, stools, and every kind of plastic container you can think of. Sometimes it’s hard for people to walk inside because we have so much stock piled up near the entrance. We have things in every color, though some have faded a bit from being near the front window where the sun hits. We don't use a computer for our sales; we just write everything down in a big ledger book. Customers come in looking for a specific size of tiffin box or a sturdy water drum for their roof. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. The building is old, and the walls are thick, which keeps it a bit cooler in the summer heat. We deal with housewives, shopkeepers, and even students who need a cheap chair for their room. It’s a simple trade. We buy the stock, we stack it up, and we sell it to whoever needs it. There’s no fancy talk here. We just show you what we have, and you pick the one that looks strongest. We stay open quite late because the market stays lively even after dark.
