Our place is at 1796, Dal Bhawan, on Khutatoen Ka Rasta. It is right in the middle of Kishanpole Bazar. If you have been to the bazar, you know how busy and packed it gets. There are people, scooters, and carts everywhere. Our shop is in an old building. It has a lot of character, but the stairs are a bit steep. We deal in arts and handicrafts. The shelves are overflowing with all sorts of things we have collected or made over the years. It is very colorful inside. We have to move things around constantly just to find a place to sit. It is a bit of a maze. We get a lot of people walking in just to look around. We do not mind. We talk to whoever comes in. Sometimes we have to dust everything because the bazar is so dusty. It is a never-ending job. We have been here for many years. We know the other shopkeepers around us. We help each other out. It is a community. The work involves a lot of sorting, packing, and talking to suppliers. It is never boring. The noise from the street is always there. We have learned to talk over it. We do not have a computer system for everything. We still write a lot of things down in big ledgers. It is just the way we do things here.
