Pioneer Handicrafts

We are over at J-49 on Deepak Marg in Adarsh Nagar. It is a quiet street for the most part. We have been doing handicrafts here for a long time. The space is filled with materials like wood, fabric, and glue. We spend our days cutting, shaping, and putting things together. It is not a fast process. Each piece takes some time and attention. We have a couple of workbenches that have seen better days. They are covered in scratches and old paint marks. That is fine with us. We are not trying to look perfect. We just want to make things that people can use or put in their homes. Our staff is small, just a few local people from the neighborhood. We know each other well and we just get on with the work. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to start over. That is just how it is when you make things by hand. The front of the building does not look like much. We do not have big glass windows or bright lights. Most of the work happens in the back room. We pack everything ourselves into cardboard boxes for shipping. It is a steady rhythm. We start early in the morning when it is cool and finish up when the work is done. It is a simple life and a simple business. We like it that way.
