We operate out of 344-A on Agra Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of traffic and horns honking in the background throughout the day. The building itself is a bit weathered from the sun and rain, but it serves its purpose well enough for what we do. Inside the institute, we have several rooms dedicated to different types of learning and work. The desks are a bit old and have some scratches on them, but they are sturdy and hold our equipment fine. We’ve hung up a few charts on the walls to help with the teaching, though some of them are starting to yellow at the edges. It’s a functional space above all else. We don’t have a fancy lounge or an espresso machine; we just have a small electric kettle in the corner for making tea during the afternoon breaks. The floors are concrete and easy to sweep, which is good because of all the dust that blows in from the main road. Students and staff come and go throughout the day, so there’s usually a bit of a buzz in the hallways. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes books and papers pile up more than they probably should. It’s an honest place where people come to put in some effort and learn something new. We’ve been at this location for a good while and it has become a bit of a local spot.
