Payal Hair Drasser

We are over here at Shop No on Sheopur Road. It is in Pratap Nagar, right near the Overseas School in Jaipur. Payal Hair Drasser has been part of this street for a while now. Most days, we just open up early and start cleaning the mirrors. The chairs are old but comfortable. People from around the 302033 zip code area walk in after dropping kids at school or coming back from work. It gets a bit dusty outside because of the traffic on Sheopur Road, but inside it is fine. We have some fans running. Sometimes the school kids walk past and wave. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name Payal Hair Drasser out front so people know where to find us. It’s a simple setup with a couple of chairs and some basic tools on the counter. We usually have the radio playing some songs in the background. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets busy in the evenings. Most of the people who come here are neighbors from Pratap Nagar who have lived here for years. We know most of their names by now. If you are looking for the shop, just find the Overseas School and look across the road. We are right there in that row of shops. Nothing too special, just a place to get a haircut and talk about the weather or what's happening in Jaipur. It’s a regular day-to-day business for us here on Sheopur Road.
