You can find us at 57 Jhotwara in the Kailash Nagar section, right at Ganwari House. Our place is usually full of boxes and the smell of packing tape. Pawan Arts & Exports is where we take local crafts and get them ready to be sent to people far away. Jhotwara is a busy part of town, and there’s always a truck or a rickshaw outside our door loading up something. We aren't a big factory or anything; it’s more of a workshop feel here. We spend a lot of time checking the items to make sure nothing is broken before it goes into a crate. Sometimes the artisans come by to drop off new work, and we sit and talk about how things are going in their villages. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and making sure the labels are correct. Kailash Nagar has a lot of energy, and we fit right in with the noise and the movement. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just focus on the objects we handle every day. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with straw and bubble wrap on the floor, but that is just how it is when you’re exporting stuff. We’ve been at Ganwari House for years and the locals know us well.
