We are tucked away at 43 Krishna Colony, over in the Naya Khera area of Ambabari. It’s a bit quieter here than the main markets, which is good because publishing requires a bit of concentration and less noise. Our office is mostly filled with manuscripts, proof copies, and a lot of half-empty coffee cups. We spend our hours going through pages, looking for mistakes, and talking to people about how their books should look when they are finally done. It’s not the kind of place with shiny glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular building where we do the work of putting books together. We have a few desks and some very heavy filing cabinets that have been here since we first started. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the exact house number in the colony, but once they do, they usually remember it for next time. We aren't trying to be the biggest publisher out there; we just want to make sure the books we handle are done right and look decent. It takes a lot of time to get everything lined up, from the first draft to the final copy that goes out. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the schedules we have to meet. It’s a lot of sitting and reading, then typing, then reading again. That’s just the way it works for us here in Ambabari.
