Bodern Book Depot

We are located at number 36 in Kamla Nehru Nagar, which is part of the Hasanpura area. It is more of a residential neighborhood, so things are a bit quieter here compared to the main city markets. We run this book depot as a simple place where people can come and find what they need without too much fuss. The shop is filled with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and we probably have more books than we have space for. We spend a lot of our time climbing ladders to reach things or dusting off the top rows. Hasanpura is a nice community, and we know a lot of the people who live nearby by their first names. They come in to see what’s new or to ask us to order something specific for them. It is just a small business, so we do everything ourselves, from sweeping the floor to keeping the accounts. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just like being part of the neighborhood and helping people get their hands on books. On hot days, we leave the door open to catch a breeze, and in the rainy season, we have to watch out for the damp. It is a quiet life, mostly just organizing paper and talking to the neighbors who drop by. We’ve been at this address for a while and don't plan on going anywhere else anytime soon.
