Om Printers

Om Printers is located over in Gangapole, specifically at Cheetwari Ke Bagichi. It’s a bit of a squeeze getting down Tailours Street sometimes, especially when the delivery bikes are parked all over the place. We’ve been running these machines for a long time. The smell of ink is something you never really get out of your clothes, but I don’t mind it much anymore. It’s just me and a couple of guys working here. We handle all sorts of paper jobs, from small cards to bigger stuff that takes all night to dry. The shop is at number 1390, and it’s easy to miss if you aren’t looking for the sign. We don't have a big front office. Most people just walk right back to where the presses are. It gets hot in the summer because the machines put out a lot of heat, but we keep the fans going. We aren’t trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just want to get the work done right so people come back next time they need something printed. Sometimes the paper delivery is late, or a machine breaks down, and we have to spend the whole evening fixing it with a wrench and some oil. It’s just part of the life of a printer. Gangapole is a busy area, and we like being right in the middle of it all. There is always something to do, and the noise of the machines becomes a kind of background music after a while.
