P P Agarwal & Co

We are over at the Navjeevan Complex. It is on the first floor at 314 Station Road. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. P P Agarwal & Co has been here for a while now. The office isn't fancy, just some desks and files everywhere. Station Road is always busy. You can hear the traffic from outside most of the day. It gets noisy around lunch when everyone is out. We keep the windows shut to keep the dust out. Inside, it is just us doing our work. We deal with papers and numbers mostly. It’s a small team. Someone usually brings tea around four o’clock. We don't have a big sign outside, just the name on the door. People find us alright though. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, but once you get inside, it’s fine. We have some old chairs that have been around since we started. Most of the files are stacked in cabinets along the wall. It’s just a normal workplace. We get here early and leave when the work is done. Sometimes that’s late. The fans keep things cool enough in the summer months. It’s nothing special, just where we do our business every day. We have a small rug near the entrance that’s seen better days. The walls are a pale yellow that’s faded over the years. It feels right for us.
