We sit in our office at Amber Tower, right on the third floor. If you know Sansar Chand Road in Jaipur, you know how busy it gets with the bikes and the horns always going off. We occupy rooms 19 and 20. It isn't a huge place, just enough room for the desks and all the papers we have to deal with. The lift in this building has its good days and bad days, so sometimes we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a climb when it's hot outside. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't really gotten around to it. Most of our day is spent at the computers or talking to people who come in. We get a lot of light from the windows, even if the view is just the street and more concrete. There is a tea stall right outside the main gate where we get our morning chai. It’s a simple setup we have here. No big signs or anything, just the name on the door so people know they found the right spot. We stay pretty busy from morning until the evening. The air conditioning works mostly, which is lucky during the summer months here. It’s just a regular office where we do our work without too much fuss. We know the other folks in the tower well enough.
