Om Art & Craft

Om Art & Craft is situated at 1605, near the crossing road on Bagru Valo Ka Rasta in Chandpole Bazar. This is one of those parts of the city where the history is everywhere you look. Our shop is a small space where we keep all our art and craft items. It is usually quite a busy area, especially with the crossing road right there. We get all sorts of people coming in, from locals living in the bazar to people just passing through. The work involves a lot of handling different materials and making sure everything is displayed okay on the shelves. We have been here for a while and the routine doesn't change much. We open the doors, sweep the front, and wait to see who the day brings. Bagru Valo Ka Rasta has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. Sometimes we are busy packing things up for someone to take home, and other times we are just sitting and watching the world go by outside. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or big bright lights. It’s just a workshop and a shop where we do our daily work. We don't have any big mission or anything; we just like making and selling things that people find useful or nice to look at. We are usually here from ten in the morning until late, just keeping the place going. It is a good way to spend the day.
