Our little shop, Nitya Walky Talky & Communication, is located in the Mansarovar area on Madhyam Marg. If you're looking for us, the address is 69/377. It’s a fairly quiet part of the neighborhood, but we stay busy with all the different communication gear we handle. We mostly focus on walkie-talkies and two-way radios that people use for security or at big outdoor events. It’s a bit of a specialized field, so we get people coming from all over the city. We spend a good chunk of our time just sitting at the bench testing the range on these units or fixing a broken antenna. It’s important that the signal stays clear, so we’re always checking the frequencies. The shop is filled with various handsets, chargers, and spare parts. It can get a little cramped when a big shipment arrives, but we manage. We’ve been here in Mansarovar for a while and have gotten to know the other shop owners around us. We aren't a big corporation with a polished front office. It’s just a practical space where we work on electronics. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People usually come to us because they need something reliable that doesn't rely on a mobile network. We just try to give honest advice about which radio will actually work for what they need. It’s simple work but we like it and it keeps the business going.
