New Style Gents Parlour

New Style Gents Parlour sits in the JDA Shopping Center at Vaishali Nagar. We actually have three shop numbers—17, 18, and 19—so there is a bit more room than some of the tiny stalls nearby. We are right at Nursery Circle, tucked behind Vaishali Tower. It’s a good spot because there are always people shopping or hanging around the circle. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have several chairs lined up because we get quite a few guys coming in at the same time, especially on the weekends. The walls have some old pictures of hairstyles that nobody really asks for anymore, but they’ve been there since we opened. We don't use any high-end products or have a receptionist. You just walk in and wait for a chair to open up. The fans stay on all day to fight the heat. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come in just to hang out and talk. It feels like a part of the local JDA center life. We see the same faces every month. Most of our customers aren't looking for anything trendy, just a decent trim so they can go about their day. We keep the scissors sharp and the water spray bottles full. It’s just a steady routine we’ve had for years in this corner of Vaishali Nagar. It works for us and it works for the people who come by.
