New S. N. Hair Dreser is located in Subhash Colony, Shastri Nagar. Our shop is right opposite Rastrapti Maidan, which is a big open field where you can always see people walking or kids playing cricket. It’s a good view to have while we are working inside. We are in the 302016 zip code of Jaipur. The shop is a basic room with big mirrors on the walls so we can see what we are doing from all angles. It’s a lot of work to keep the place clean because the wind blows the dirt in from the maidan all the time. We don't have a fancy reception area; people just walk in and if a chair is free, they sit down. If not, they wait and talk. We have some old magazines on the table, but most people just look at their phones now. We’ve been part of this colony for a while, and we see the same people every few weeks. Our routine is the same every day: open up, clean the mirrors, and wait for the first customer. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. We just provide a place for a decent haircut without any fuss. The evening time is usually the busiest when the sun goes down and the maidan gets crowded. We just stay here until the last person is done and then head home to get some rest for the next morning.
