New Moden Hair Art is situated right on N.H.8 in Kotputli, specifically in the Paota area. It is easy to spot if you are traveling along the highway. The shop has been here for a while, and the name on the sign is spelled a bit differently than usual, but everyone knows it is us. Being on the main road means we get a lot of travelers and truck drivers stopping by. They usually want a quick trim or a shave to feel fresh for their long journey ahead. The shop has a few old chairs that are still quite comfortable. I try to keep the place cool with a couple of fans because the highway heat can be quite strong in the summer months. It is a noisy spot with all the trucks passing by, but you get used to the sound after a few days of working here. I have a small cupboard where I keep my scissors and combs. Nothing is very modern, despite the name of the shop. We just use what works. Sometimes the local boys from Paota come in to get their hair done for a wedding or a festival. It gets lively then. I don't have a big staff, just myself and a cousin who helps out when he can. We don't use any expensive products. It is just a basic shop for a basic service that people can afford without thinking too much about it.
