New Luks Genss Parlour

New Luks Genss Parlour is over at Shop No 52 in Ramnagar. If you know the New Sanganer Road in Sodala, you know how busy it gets around here. There is always someone honking or a bike zooming past the front door. We have been in this little shop for some time now. It’s not a huge space, so when three or four people are waiting, it feels quite full. We keep the equipment on the side counters and try to keep the mirrors clean, though the Jaipur dust makes that a constant job. Most of the men who come in are from around Sodala or people stopping by on their way through the city. We don't do anything flashy. It's just haircuts, maybe a shave or a head massage if someone has the time to sit. The chairs are comfortable enough, but they've been used a lot over the years. We don't have a big sign with lights, just the name on the front. Sometimes we forget to turn the radio on, and you just hear the traffic from the road outside. It is a practical shop for practical people. We open early and stay until the street gets quiet at night. Nothing more to it than that. Just a local spot to get your hair cut without any fuss. We just keep our heads down and do the work every single day.
