Our place is at Plot 33 in Heera Nagar, right across from the New Aatish Market. If you know where the Ganga Jamuna petrol pump is on the Gopalpura Bypass Road, then you’ve basically found us. We are a trading company, so our day is mostly about moving goods and dealing with paperwork. The office is small and usually piled high with boxes that haven't been sorted yet. It’s a busy location because of the bypass, so there are always trucks stopping nearby. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and trying to figure out where the next shipment is. It’s not a fancy job. The walls have some marks from where we move crates around, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise that we’ve just learned to ignore. We have a small staff, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering calls to helping load a van. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to keep things organized and make sure everyone gets what they ordered. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when things get busy during the festival seasons. We just take it one day at a time here. Sometimes the traffic on the bypass is so bad it takes an hour just to get the truck out of the gate, but we manage. That is just how life goes in the trading business.
