You can find us at Malviya Nagar in the Nigam Bazar area, at shop number 20455. This is where we do most of our work repairing mobile phones and selling a few bits and pieces. The shop is tucked into a corner of the bazaar. It’s not very big, and the walls are covered with posters for different mobile networks. We have a small workspace in the back where we keep the soldering irons and all the screwdrivers. Most of the people who come in have cracked screens or batteries that won't hold a charge anymore. We see a lot of the same faces because we are right in the middle of the neighborhood. The bazaar is a busy place, and there’s always something going on outside the door. We have a small stool for customers to sit on while they wait for us to finish a quick repair. Sometimes we have to send a phone away if the problem is too complicated for us to fix here. We try to be clear about how long things will take, but sometimes the parts are hard to find. The floor is tiled and a bit worn down from people coming in and out. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the tools. It’s a regular job and we like being part of the local market here in Malviya Nagar. We usually keep some spare cables under the counter just in case someone needs one quickly.
