If you know Khazane Walon Ka Rasta, you know how packed it gets. We are at No. 1758, right opposite the Amar Sariya Saree Showroom. It’s a great landmark because everyone knows it. Being here at Sonia Fashion means we see a lot of people walking by every single day. It’s a narrow street, but that’s the charm of it. We mostly focus on clothes that people actually wear for weddings or local festivals. It gets really loud outside with the traffic and the shoppers, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. Our shop is quite small, so we have to use every bit of space for storage and showing the clothes. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just show people what we have and let them decide. Usually, someone’s aunt or cousin told them to come here, and that’s how we keep the lights on. It’s hard work standing on your feet all day, but it’s nice when a customer finds exactly what they were looking for. Sometimes we stay open late if there’s a lot of people in the street. We’ve been across from that saree showroom for so long it feels like we’re part of the furniture now. It’s just a regular local shop doing its thing, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else despite the daily madness of the market.
