Nai Salon

Our little shop, Nai Salon, is located in Sindhu Nagar, which is part of the Murlipura area here in Jaipur. We are pretty easy to find if you know where the Pratap Nagar Chouraha is, we are just a short distance from that main crossing. We kept the name simple because that is exactly what we are—a local barber shop for the people living around here. It is not one of those polished places with glass walls and expensive coffee. We have some basic chairs and the usual tools of the trade. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they have character. Most of our days are spent talking to neighbors about the local news while we work on their hair or give them a shave. We have been in this spot for quite a while now and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. Even with all the new buildings going up, we like to keep things the way they have always been. It is a quiet routine. You come in, we say hello, and we get to work. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. We just rely on people walking by or hearing about us from a friend. It’s a small business, run by real people who just want to do a good day's work and go home.
