Nagar Hair Beauty Saloon

Our shop is located in Lbs Market in Kotputli. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something happening outside the door. Nagar Hair Beauty Saloon is just a regular spot for people to get cleaned up. We do haircuts and shaves, and some of the younger guys come in for styling too. It’s not a big corporate chain or anything like that. It’s just me and a couple of others working the chairs. The market can be quite loud with all the bikes and shops nearby, but inside we just focus on the job. I’ve lived in Jaipur district my whole life, and Kotputli has changed a lot, but people still need the same things. A decent haircut and a bit of conversation. We don’t have a website or fancy posters. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign or someone told them about us. The chairs are old but comfortable. We keep the towels clean and the blades sharp. That’s really all that matters in this business. Sometimes it gets very dusty in the market, so we have to wipe everything down twice a day. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day long, but it’s what we do. We don’t make big promises, we just try to do a solid job so people come back next month. That's the way it is here. Nothing special, just us and the market day after day. We like it that way.
