Mungana Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Ruplal’s house. He is the son of Nathu Lal Ji Meena. Our office is on Vagatpra Street in the Dhariyawad tehsil of Pratapgarh. This is deep in the 313611 area. It is a very local setup, right in the middle of the neighborhood. We don't have a storefront or anything like that. People just know where Ruplal lives and they come by when they have something to discuss about the farm producer group. It is mostly about getting the local farmers together so we have a better chance of getting things done. We deal with the day-to-day problems like getting supplies or dealing with the local market prices. It is noisy sometimes with kids playing in the street and the usual village sounds, but that is our reality. We aren't trying to pretend to be a big city corporation. We are just men and women from Dhariyawad working on our own terms. The paperwork can be a bit of a mess sometimes but we get through it eventually. It is just about being practical and staying connected to the people around us. Most of us have been farming our whole lives so we know what the struggles are without having to read them in a book.
