Mukesh Medical & Provision Store

Mukesh Medical & Provision Store is located in Amer. It’s a bit of a mix here because we sell both medicines and general grocery items. We figured it makes sense since people often need a few things from the store when they are stopping to pick up their tablets. We keep the basic medicines that people ask for most and then we have the regular provision items like tea, biscuits, and cleaning supplies. The shop isn't huge, so we have to use every bit of space we have. Sometimes it feels like things are stacked up to the ceiling. We are open pretty much every day. In a place like Amer, you get all sorts of people coming in from all over. We see the same neighbors every morning for their milk and bread. Being a local shop means we hear a lot of stories and know what’s going on around the neighborhood. It’s not a fancy pharmacy with bright lights and uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and get on with it. If we don’t have a specific medicine, we try to get it in by the next day if we can. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the different expiry dates and stock levels, but we manage. We’ve been here long enough that people just know to come to us when they need something quick for the house or their health. It’s a busy life but we enjoy being here.
