We’ve been here at Tripolia Bazar for a long time now. The shop is at MGD Market, B 42. It’s a busy spot. Every morning we open up, sweep the front, and get the medicine shelves ready. People come in all day asking for things. Sometimes we have it right away, other times we have to look through the back. The traffic outside is always loud. You know how it is in this part of town. We try to keep everything organized, but with so many small boxes, it gets messy fast. My nephew helps out sometimes when it gets too crowded. We see the same faces every week. People from the neighborhood mostly. They tell us about their families while we find their pills. It’s not a fancy place. Just some counters and a lot of stock. We keep the fan running all day because it gets really hot in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we sit by the door for some air. It’s just how things go here. We don’t do any big advertising or anything. People just know we are here in the market. We just keep doing what we do every day. It’s a simple life at the shop. We hope to stay here for many more years because the location is good and we know everyone around who comes in for their daily supplies.
