Medicure Medical Store

If you ever find yourself walking down Hatwara Road in Jaipur, you might see our sign. We are Medicure Medical Store. Being right near the Jaipur GPO makes this a very busy spot most of the time. The whole area has a lot of energy, and there is always someone passing by on their way to the post office. Our shop is not very large, but we make use of every bit of shelf space we have. We spend most of our day behind the counter, talking to the people who stop in and finding whatever they are looking for. It gets really hot in the summer, as Jaipur usually does, but we have a small fan that keeps us going through the afternoon slump. We have been at this Gpo 3 location for a long time. It is a simple setup. We do not have fancy neon signs or big advertisements. Most people who come in are locals from the neighborhood or folks who happened to be at the GPO nearby. We know a lot of our regulars by their first names, which makes the long days go by a lot faster. Medicure Medical Store is basically just a few of us trying to stay organized amidst all the boxes and medicine bottles. Sometimes the deliveries come in late and things get a bit chaotic, but that is just part of running a small business on Hatwara Road. We just open up and do our best.
