To get to us, you have to go into Raisar Plaza in Indira Bazar and head up to the fourth floor. It’s unit FT-44. Raisar Plaza is always full of people looking for electronics and parts, so the energy is quite high most days. Since we are on the fourth floor, it’s a bit of a trek, but there is a lift if it’s working. Our space is full of different instruments and boxes. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because we have so much stock tucked into the corners. There is a specific smell of new electronics and cardboard that hangs in the air. We spend a lot of time checking items and making sure everything is where it should be. The workbench in the back is usually covered in tools and small parts. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. From the window, you can see the rooftops of Indira Bazar, which is a nice view when the sun starts to go down. We have a small radio that we keep on a low volume just for some background noise while we work. It’s a honest day’s work, dealing with technical things and talking to customers who know exactly what they are looking for. We leave the shop quite late most evenings.
