Mukesh Gents Parlour

I run Mukesh Gents Parlour over in Vaishali Nagar. Specifically, we are at Nursery Circle, which is a very well-known spot in this part of Jaipur. If you live around here, you probably pass this circle every day on your way to work or the market. The shop is small and sits right where all the action is. I usually start the day by sweeping the front and getting the chairs wiped down. It is a gents parlour, so it is mostly men coming in for a shave or a haircut. We have a couple of big mirrors and the usual tools like scissors and clippers. I like the vibe at Nursery Circle because there is always something happening outside. You see the fruit sellers and the traffic going around the circle all day. Inside, it is a bit quieter, though we usually have some music playing or the news on a small TV in the corner. We do not have a big team, just a couple of us working. We’ve become part of the daily routine for a lot of people in the 302021 area. Sometimes someone will stop by just to say hello or have a quick chat while they are out at the market. It is a practical place for a quick haircut. No fancy drinks or leather sofas, just a good chair and a sharp pair of scissors. That’s how we’ve always done it at Mukesh Gents Parlour right at the circle.
