Mohra Mobile World

Running Mohra Mobile World here in Amer is quite an experience because of all the history around us. The shop is located in a spot where we see both locals and people just passing through the area. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement every single day. We have phones piled up in the back that need fixing and new ones displayed in the front glass. It isn't the biggest shop in the world, but we make do with the space we have. I usually spend my time talking to customers about different models or helping them figure out why their camera isn't working right. The air in Amer always feels a bit different, and our shop has its own character because of the old building style. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in notebooks. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of glass protector and have to wait for the delivery guy to show up on his scooter. It can be a bit chaotic when three people are asking for different things at once. My desk is usually covered in small screws and tiny screwdrivers from the phones I’ve been opening up. It’s just how we operate here, doing one thing at a time and trying to keep the shop running smoothly for everyone. Living and working in Amer is something I have grown to appreciate more as time goes by.
