Mission Excellence Institute

Mission Excellence Institute is over in Mansarovar, Jaipur. We don’t have a fancy storefront or a big neon sign to attract people. It’s just a plain building where we do our teaching. Mansarovar is such a massive residential area that it made sense to stay local and serve the people nearby. I remember when we first moved in, the rooms were completely empty and we had to carry all the benches up ourselves. We’ve added things slowly over the years—a better light here, a new shelf there. It’s a very basic setup. There’s no lobby with a TV or anything like that. People just come here to study and then they go home. We focus on the books and the notes we've prepared. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy, but the students still show up. I think they appreciate that we don’t put on airs or act like we're something we aren't. We’re just regular people who happen to know our subjects well. Our days start early and often end late, especially when exams are coming up for the local colleges. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up and do the job every day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. The neighborhood is quiet enough that we can actually get things done without too much distraction from the outside world.
