Meeta Craft & Furniture

We have been at 77 Ajmer Road for a long time now. It is a busy spot in Gandhi Nagar and we have seen the area change a lot over the years. Meeta Craft & Furniture started small and it still feels that way. We mostly deal with wooden items and chairs or tables people need for their homes. The shop is not fancy or polished. You can usually find someone working in the back or moving pieces around. It gets dusty inside with all the sanding and cutting going on. People come by when they want something that lasts longer than the stuff you buy in big boxes. We handle almost all the work ourselves. Sometimes it takes us a little longer to get a piece finished, but that is just how it goes when you work with wood. It is mostly local families who stop in to see us. We try to keep things straightforward here. If someone needs a cabinet fixed or a new bed frame, we just look at what can be done. It is practical work. Nothing over the top. Just us making furniture day in and day out on Ajmer Road. We keep the doors open most days unless something urgent comes up. It is an honest way to earn a living, working with your hands. The smell of sawdust is always around the place. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know the tools well.
