Our little shop is tucked away in Pratap Nagar, right near the NR-8 area. If you come by Meet Mobile Shop Miit Mobile, you will see a lot of phone cases hanging up and boxes of chargers stacked on the shelves. It’s not a very big place, just enough room for a couple of counters and a stool for us to sit on while we work on things. We spend most of our hours looking at small screens or trying to figure out why a certain phone won't charge properly. People come in all day with cracked screens or just needing a new sim card. It’s a lot of small, repetitive tasks but it keeps us busy. The noise from the main road is always there in the background. Sometimes we get people who are just passing through Pratap Nagar and need a quick recharge or a cheap pair of earphones because they lost theirs. We aren't some high-end showroom with glass walls and bright spotlights. It’s a simple local shop where we try to fix what’s broken. The back of the shop is usually a bit messy with old spare parts and half-finished repairs. We get to know the regulars who live around here quite well. They stop in to chat while they wait for their screen protectors to be glued on. It’s just a regular daily routine for us, dealing with technology that seems to break way too often for most people.
