Meera Handicrafts

Meera Handicrafts is located over at Plot No. 9 in the Madarsha Building. This is in Jagdish Colony, right by Amer Road near the Ramgarg Mod. It’s a bit of a busy spot with all the traffic going towards the fort. We have been working out of this building for quite a while now. The space is okay, though we could always use more room for all the stuff we make. We focus on traditional handicrafts. It’s just me and a couple of guys who help with the production. We don't have a big staff or a human resources department. If there is a problem, we just talk about it and fix it. The building itself is older, and the stairs are a bit steep. We spend most of our time in the back room where the light is better for working. Some days we don't see many customers, and other days it’s non-stop. We don't really plan for it, we just take it as it comes. We try to keep things organized, but with so many different items, it’s a constant battle. The area around Mount Road always has something going on, so it’s never boring here. We aren't trying to become a huge company. We just want to keep making things that we think are okay. It’s a simple way to make a living, really. We are happy with how things are going for now.
