We have been here at 454 in Vaswani Market for a while now. It is a busy spot in Agersen Colony, especially when the morning deliveries start coming in. Brahmpuri is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we spend a lot of time just greeting people who walk past our door. The shop itself isn't huge, but we make do with the space we have. There are stacks of things here and there, and the fan makes a bit of a clicking noise that we have grown used to over the years. We open up early because that is when the market is the coolest. By midday, it gets quite warm, and the tea seller from down the street usually stops by. We don't have fancy signs or a big lobby. It is just us here, working through the daily tasks. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, but that is just part of living and working in this part of town. People often get lost looking for 454, so we tell them to look for the landmark nearby. We have sat in these same chairs for a long time, watching the colony change bit by bit. New shops open and old ones close, but we stay right here in Vaswani Market under the Medatwals name. It is a simple life, really. We handle our business, talk to the neighbors, and go home when the sun sets. There isn't much more to it than that. It is just home to us.
