Our shop is located on the first floor of the Ashirwad Complex, which is right in the Central Spine area of Vidhyadhar Nagar. Being near Biyani Girls College means we get a lot of students coming in, especially when there’s a festival or an event going on at the college. It’s a hair and beauty place, so we do a bit of everything, from cutting hair to helping people get ready for weddings. The first floor is nice because it’s a bit away from the street noise, though the complex itself can get pretty busy with people going to the other shops. We’ve got a couple of rooms set up for different things. It’s not a huge place, but we make the most of the space we have. I usually spend the mornings getting the towels washed and the products lined up on the shelves. It’s a lot of work keeping a beauty shop running, especially with all the different things people ask for. We try to keep things friendly and relaxed. Sometimes the light in the hallway is a bit dim, but once you step inside, it’s bright and we’re ready to work. We’ve been in Vidhyadhar Nagar for some time now and we’ve seen the Central Spine change a lot. It’s a good community to be a part of. We aren't some big corporate brand, just a local shop trying to make sure everyone who leaves feels better.
