Maya'S

Finding Maya’S can be a bit of a trick if you aren't used to Tripolia Bazar. We are on the second floor at 605 Vidhyadhar Ka Rasta. You have to walk through Gopal Ji Ka Rasta and then head up the stairs. It’s an old building, so the steps are a bit steep. Once you get up here, it’s a lot quieter than the street below. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The room is filled with stuff we’ve collected over the years. It’s mostly just a place for us to work on our things and meet people who know where to find us. We don’t get many random walk-ins because of the stairs, so most people who come by are friends or people who heard about us from someone else. We spend our days sitting on the floor or at small tables, going through our stock. It gets hot in the summer, but the ceiling fans keep things moving. We don't have a big sign outside. We like it that way. It keeps things manageable. If you stop by, we might be in the middle of sorting through a new batch of items, so the place might look a bit messy. We don't worry too much about the decor. It’s about the work we do and the people we see. Just a regular old-city setup that works for us and the people who visit.
