Soundarya Beauty Palour & Boutique

We are located over at B66 in Ls Nagar, which is part of the Vidhyadhar Nagar area in Jaipur. It is pretty easy to find if you know where Naya Khera is. Our place is a bit of a mix because we have the beauty parlour side and then the boutique side where we do some stitching and clothes work. It keeps us on our feet. One minute we might be doing a haircut and the next we are measuring fabric for a suit. The shop has been here for a bit now. We have some sewing machines in the back and the salon chairs up front. It gets a little crowded when we have a few ladies waiting, but we manage. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some racks for the clothes we finish. Most people from around Vidhyadhar Nagar know where we are. It is a local spot. We do not have a big team, just a few of us working together. The morning starts with opening the shutters and cleaning up the bits of thread or hair from the day before. It is practical work. We spend a lot of time talking with the ladies who come in for their outfits or to get ready for a function. It is a noisy place sometimes with the machines running, but it feels like home to us. We just do what we can to make sure the clothes fit and the hair looks okay for every person who visits us.
