New Collection

You can find New Collection over at 103 Baraf Khana in the Jawahar Nagar area. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main markets, which is something we actually like. We’ve been in this building for several years now. The name is simple because that’s what we try to keep—a fresh set of things for people to look at. We mostly sell clothes and some small accessories that people might need for their daily lives. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about what we bring in. I usually spend my mornings checking the inventory and making sure everything looks okay on the hangers. We get a lot of students and families from the nearby houses coming in. It’s nice because you get to know the faces after a while. Sometimes we just sit outside on the steps when things are slow and talk to the neighbors. There isn't any big corporate strategy here. We just buy stuff we think looks good and hope our customers think so too. The light in the shop isn't the best, but we’ve added a few extra bulbs to brighten things up a bit. It’s a modest business, and we’re happy to be part of the Jawahar Nagar community. We just keep things simple and try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door. It’s not about being the biggest shop, just about being there for the neighborhood and seeing familiar people every day while we work.
