Mathe Magic Abacus Point

Tonk Phatak is one of those places in Jaipur that never seems to sleep. It’s always buzzing with people and vehicles. That’s where we have Mathe Magic Abacus Point. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we sit down and work with the kids on their abacus and math. The walls are covered with charts and there’s usually a lot of chatter coming from the classrooms. It’s a bit humble, honestly. We don’t have those fancy glass walls or high-tech gadgets you see in some of the newer centers. Just simple tables and chairs and plenty of abacuses. The noise from the Phatak can be a lot sometimes, but the kids don't seem to mind it much. They’re too focused on their numbers. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now, and we’ve become a bit of a fixture in the neighborhood. People stop by to chat or ask about classes while they’re out running errands. It’s a very local feel. We drink tea from the stall next door and watch the traffic crawl by during the evening rush. It’s just a normal, everyday kind of place where we try to make math a bit less scary for the local kids. No frills, no fuss, just us doing our thing here. We stay open late most days to make sure everyone gets their turn with the beads. It is a simple life but a good one.
