Our shop is located at number 840 in Chandpole Bazar, specifically in the lane known as Rasta Bagru Walon Ka. It’s a narrow street and things can get pretty crowded, especially when the delivery carts are trying to get through. We deal in all sorts of handcrafted items that we stack up along the walls. The building itself is old, like most things in this part of the city. You can smell the wood and the paint when you walk inside. We spend a lot of time packing things into boxes and making sure they won't break. It’s a lot of bubble wrap and tape. Sometimes we sit out front on a little stool just to watch the people go by. We’ve known the neighbors for years, so there’s always someone to chat with while we wait for customers. The light in the rasta isn't very bright, so we have some old lamps inside to show off the goods. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more like a busy storehouse where you have to look around to find what you want. We don't use any fancy systems, just a notebook for keeping track of what we sell. In the rainy season, we have to be careful about the dampness coming through the walls. It’s just a regular day-to-day business where we try to keep things moving along.
