Manokamna Institute

We have been here at E-701 on Nakul Path in Lal Kothi for a good while now. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the Jyoti Nagar Police Station, which makes it pretty easy to find. Jaipur can get really hot in the summer, and our little office is a place where we try to keep things cool and focused. It’s not a big, flashy building. It’s just a regular spot where we spend our days helping students with their books. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially with the police station being right there, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. We started this place because we saw a lot of families nearby looking for a bit of extra help for their kids. There are no fancy carpets or glass walls here. We have simple wooden desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use. We don't really have a big staff, so you will usually see the same two or three faces every day. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time talking about math and science. It’s a very basic setup. We don’t do any big advertising. Most people just walk in because they live in the neighborhood. We just want to make sure that when a student leaves here, they feel a bit more confident than when they walked in. That is pretty much our whole day, day after day.
