Manoj Electrical & Mobile Point

We started this shop, Manoj Electrical & Mobile Point, a few years back here on the Gopalpura Byepass. Our spot is at Surya Nagar 626 and it’s a busy corner with lots of dust coming off the main road. Most days involve fixing old ceiling fans that have stopped humming or trying to get a smartphone to charge again. It’s a bit of a tight space inside because we have boxes of wires stacked up next to mobile phone cases and screen protectors. We aren’t big talkers, we just get to the work when someone walks in with a broken switch or a phone that fell in the water. Sometimes the bypass traffic makes it hard to hear what the customers are saying, but we manage. My brother helps me out in the afternoons when the sun is really hitting the front of the shop. We keep a stock of bulbs, tubes, and different types of plugs that people in the neighborhood always seem to need. It is a simple life and the work keeps us busy from morning until late evening. People know they can come to us if their house wiring is acting up or if they need a quick recharge for their data plan. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a couple of chairs for people to sit while we finish a quick repair. It’s just how things are here in this part of town.
